GRILLED SHRIMP

Here is a great recipe to make when you have friends over! I made these for a group of my friends and they loved them. They are a perfect appetizer or side dish!

  • 30 jumbo shrimp

Marinade

  • Olive oil (enough to lightly coat the shrimp)
  • Zest and juice of 1 lime
  • 1 TBSP honey
  • 1-2 pressed garlic cloves
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Marinate the shrimp for 5 hours before grilling. Serve with the following dipping sauces.

Lime and Honey Sauce

  • 2 plain yogurts (400 gr)
  • Juice and zest of 2 limes
  • 1 TBSP fresh shaved ginger
  • 2 TBSP honey

Mix all the ingredients and keep cool before serving.

Spicy Sauce

  • 8 marinated sun dried tomatoes
  • 2 plain yogurts (400gr)
  • 1 ½ tsp of sambal oelek
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 2 TBSP chopped coriander leaves
  • 1 pinch of salt

Let the sun dried tomatoes dry. Chop them up and then mix all the ingredients.
