GRILLED SHRIMP
Here is a great recipe to make when you have friends over! I made these for a group of my friends and they loved them. They are a perfect appetizer or side dish!
- 30 jumbo shrimp
Marinade
- Olive oil (enough to lightly coat the shrimp)
- Zest and juice of 1 lime
- 1 TBSP honey
- 1-2 pressed garlic cloves
- Salt and pepper to taste
Marinate the shrimp for 5 hours before grilling. Serve with the following dipping sauces.
Lime and Honey Sauce
- 2 plain yogurts (400 gr)
- Juice and zest of 2 limes
- 1 TBSP fresh shaved ginger
- 2 TBSP honey
Mix all the ingredients and keep cool before serving.
Spicy Sauce
- 8 marinated sun dried tomatoes
- 2 plain yogurts (400gr)
- 1 ½ tsp of sambal oelek
- 2 garlic cloves
- 2 TBSP chopped coriander leaves
- 1 pinch of salt
Let the sun dried tomatoes dry. Chop them up and then mix all the ingredients.
