SEA BASS
I have traveled to Asia dozens of times and I just love their food. I find it very fresh and so light. Below is one of my favorites. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. It’s very simple, but the taste is amazing.
Serves 4
- 1 lb Chilean sea bass
- 1 cup of light mizo
- ½ cup mirin
- ½ cup sake
- 1 tbsp fresh ginger (chopped)
- ½ cup canola oil
- ¼ cup sugar
Combine all the ingredients in one bowl. Put the fish in the marinade (recommend 8-24 hrs).
Pat the marinade off the fish and put in an oven-safe dish. Broil on high for 10 minutes. Serve with rice and fresh green vegetables.
